The variety of formats is designed to support different approaches to learning as well as different learning styles and preferences. Our courses are very hands on and informal, our tutors are industry experienced to help you to gain the practical skills required.

All of courses have identified learning objectives and what will be covered and met during the course. This information is designed to support you to identify if you might have any issues achieving the learning objectives. Delivery of courses

Courses are accessible in a range of formats. Online courses for example could be presented in larger text.

Our qualified trainers deliver our face-to-face courses and can adapt practical training activities and recognising where activities might present barriers to a student and provide information or an activity in an alternative format. Our trainers are actively encouraged through observation and feedback to ensure that they adapt and personalise the training to be inclusive for all students.

Assessment

As with the training content, we will make all reasonable adjustments on an assessment for a certificate to ensure you can successfully complete your assignments whilst still being assessed against the same learning objectives as the other students. This assumes that we are informed of any requirements at the outset before you make your final course booking. An adjustment we could make could include allowing extra time for students with learning disabilities.

Special considerations

It is crucial to ensure you are clear about the content, study time and assessment processes before you begin your training and that you have fully informed us of any needs you may identify. It is important to ensure that you are realistic about how long it will take you to achieve your training and to provide clarity about how much additional study you will be expected to complete in addition to contact time with your tutor.

We recognise that situations will arise that make completion of your training or assignment impossible. We advise all students to consider insurance to cover any costs they may incur.
